The parts to be painted are first washed in a soap solution. Let dry. The body is freed from superfluous plastic parts and sanded down. The aerodynamic rear spoiler is glued on, the seams filled with "putty compound" (filler). The whole thing is primed matt white with the airbrush. When this has dried, the red paint is applied. The interior and the seats are painted in satin white. The seat belts are painted by hand. When this has dried the yellow decals can be added.The engine parts are painted while still attached to the sprue by hand, then cut from the sprue, and glued together. Glue the brakes to the axles. The chrome-plated wheel nuts are glued to the black mini tubes (both must be completely dry). In the meantime, mount the tires on the rims. Push the wheel nuts with tube through the rim onto the axle. Only glue transparent plastic parts (e.g. windows) with the appropriate color, as glue would damage the material (e.g. make it opaque).
